The Foundation Programme
Before anyone teaches you a setup, you prove you'll do the work.
Foundation is the entry gate to Traderess. Forty-six structured lessons, five graded assessments, and a study log that tells the truth about your week. It takes most people one to two weeks — and it is meant to be hard to pass.
What it actually is
A gate you walk through, not a course you drift through.
Foundation exists because mentorship is tracked one student at a time, and that only works if the person on the other side of it is committed. So the commitment gets proven first — on your own time, in your own log, before a mentor spends an hour on you.
It buys you a chance, not a stage
Clearing Foundation is what opens Stage 1. There is no upgrade button and no fast lane — paying more moves you exactly nowhere.
Your study is logged, daily
Every session you do is recorded. By the end there is an honest record of the weeks you showed up and the weeks you told yourself you would.
Five assessments, then a decision
Structured lessons, five graded assessments, and a straight answer at the end: ready for Stage 1, or not yet. Re-attempting costs effort, not money.
Inside the programme
Four things happen, in this order.
Nothing here is a surprise. This is the whole shape of Foundation, start to finish.
- 01
You study, and it's tracked
Forty-six lessons covering how the market actually moves, what a real trading routine looks like, and why most people never build one. Short sessions, logged as you go.
- 02
You build your first trading plan
Not a copied template — your own written rules, in your own words. It is the document that everything after Foundation is built on top of.
- 03
You sit five graded assessments
Spread through the programme, not saved for the end. They exist to catch the gaps early, while fixing them is still cheap.
- 04
You get an honest decision
Ready for Stage 1, or not yet — and if it's not yet, exactly what to go and close before you re-attempt. Nobody is pushed forward to be polite.
How the work is marked
Marked properly, by the right thing.
Two different kinds of work, two different kinds of marking — and we are precise about which is which.
Drills: instant objective marking
Charting Studio drills are marked the moment you submit them, against fixed rules. Same answer, same mark, every time — so you can practise all evening without waiting on anyone.
Your written work: marked by a mentor
Your trading plan and your graded assessments are read by a person. That is the part a machine cannot do, and we do not pretend otherwise.
A certificate that can be checked
Clearing Foundation earns a certificate carrying its own public verification link — anyone you show it to can confirm it is real.
Enrolment
What it costs is agreed on your call.
We don't publish a checkout button for Foundation. The fee is confirmed with you on your trading-plan call — once we both know it's the right fit — and you're then sent a personal enrolment link.
Have a personal enrolment link? It's in your email.
Enrolment covers the Foundation Programme only. Stage 1 opens when Foundation is cleared, and is arranged separately.
Be honest with yourself
There are people this is wrong for.
We would genuinely rather you read this list and walk away now than find out three weeks in.
You want signals to copy. Nobody here will tell you what to trade — the whole point is that you learn to decide.
You want to skip to the live charts. Everything is traded on demo until a mentor is satisfied, and that is not negotiable.
You have no hour a day to give it. Foundation is short, but it is not passive, and the study log makes that visible.
You are looking for a guarantee. This is education. Nobody can promise you an outcome, and anybody who does is selling you something else.
If none of that put you off, you are exactly who Foundation is built for.
The next step
It starts with a conversation. Not a checkout.
Apply for a place and the first step is a free trading-plan call — a working session where we look at where you actually are and map what we would put you on. It works both ways: you are deciding about us too.

Traderess is an educational programme, not financial advice. Everything is traded on demo throughout the programme; results are never typical or guaranteed, and trading involves significant risk. Certificates verify completion of educational stages, not trading performance.
