Legal
Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, share and protect your personal data — and the rights you have over it.
Draft placeholder. This is working copy to be reviewed and finalised by the Traderess team and a qualified lawyer before launch. It is not yet a final legal document and should not be relied on as one.
What we collect
When you enquire, book a call, register for a webinar or join a programme, we collect the information you give us and a little about how you use our services. In broad terms:
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number and country, as submitted through our forms or booking pages.
- Programme & account data — your progress, submitted work, call notes and the information you choose to share with your coach.
- Payment data — handled by our payment processor; we receive confirmation and limited billing metadata, not your full card details.
- Usage & device data — basic analytics and technical information (such as IP address and browser) used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Deliver the programme, mentorship and webinars you signed up for.
- Respond to your enquiries and arrange your trading-plan calls.
- Personalise your coaching — tracking progress, feedback and the next steps in your journey.
- Send you service and (where you have opted in) marketing communications, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- Keep our services secure, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. This is an education service — we never trade on your behalf and never ask for access to your trading capital.
Sharing & third parties
We share data with a small set of trusted service providers who help us run Traderess. Each only receives what it needs, and only to provide its service to us:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Bunny — video and content delivery for lessons.
- Supabase — secure database and authentication for the learning platform.
- Typeform — webinar registration and intake forms.
- Calendly — scheduling your 1-on-1 trading-plan calls.
We may also disclose information where required by law. Some of these providers may process data outside your country; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or EU, you have rights under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR over your personal data, including the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Request erasure of your data, where applicable.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Request a portable copy of the data you provided.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Contact
For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, email us at contact@traderess.com. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
