How to become a funded trader alongside a full-time job

You don't need eight hours at the charts. You need one focused hour, a plan, and a journal that tells you the truth. Here's the structure our students use.

Most people believe funded trading requires quitting their job first. It's usually the opposite: the job is what removes the pressure to force trades. The students who pass challenges fastest are almost always the ones trading around work — one focused hour a day, executed with discipline, beats eight distracted ones.

The one-hour structure

  • Pick one session you can actually attend — London open or New York first hour, not both
  • Prepare the night before: levels marked, scenarios written, alerts set
  • Trade the plan or don't trade — a no-trade day executed well is a win
  • Journal before you close the laptop: why it worked, why it didn't, in writing
“I started the mentorship alongside my full-time job, and it has been one of the best decisions I've made for my trading journey.”
— Karam M. — Trustpilot

Why the journal is the real edge

A funded account is passed in the review, not in the trade. Every entry in our journal demands a written reason before it counts — which means by the time you attempt a challenge, you have hundreds of documented decisions telling you exactly which setups are yours and which are leaks.
